This outrages me. In short the article is about a Cornell University student, Alexander H. Atkind, who was dog sitting for someone. Princess, a labrador/pit bull mix, chewed through a wire in Atkind’s apartment. Atkind’s then tortured her by pouring bleach and laundry detergent on her, as well as burning her with cigarettes. When her owner got to her, she also had a gash on her head and her skull exposed.

Please if you have feelings at all, please sign this petition. He can’t get away with this. The Humane Society proposed that felony charges be pursued.

I’m from a small city only 25 minutes away from Ithaca. My husband attended Cornell University, and will be writing a formal letter to Cornell. A dozen other Alumni have sent letters to Cornell. Atkind is scheduled to graduate from Cornell in five weeks. We can only hope he will be expelled. Atkind is also facing drug charges.
