Check your backlinks with SmartPageRank

Every now and then I like to wander over to SmartPageRank and check out the value of my domain just for the heck of it. When you do this you also get other much more valuable information about your site like how many pages are indexed by Google, Yahoo and so on. A new feature that wasn’t there the last time I visited is a backlink checker. Now you can see what sites are linking to yours and even what their page rank is. I discovered some backlinks I didn’t even know about it.

Although my domain is now just over 11 months old, I’ve only been blogging seriously for a little over three months and I’m already seeing almost 600 backlinks to my site. Not too bad I guess :) Now if I can just boost the ever important PR number.

Hey Mike, nice find. I like the way they lay out the information and the type of information they include.

It’s all pretty useful stuff if you’re a stats junkie, and really who isn’t? :P

Wow, I didn’t know such a thing existed. Thanks for posting the link. I found out that I have 3,261 backlinks and the estimated value of my blog is 3,857 dollars. Anyone want to buy a blog???? LoL, just joking. I can only imagine what the top one hundred blogs are worth. Holy geez. I thought the only links were the ones that technorati tells you about, which for me is way lower. I don’t know whether to be delighted or confused…hmmmm. :)

Hehe, yep Technorati just counts links from other blogs I believe :P

If you want to have some fun, enter in the URLs of sites you visit every day like Google and so on. Have a look at their estimated value :-o
