Colds, zombies and rambling, oh my.

i-have-a-cold.jpg

To say that the last few days for me have been lousy would be a bit of an understatement. For what seems like the 5,093rd time this winter, I have yet another cold. If there’s any consolation to that, I figure I’m doing my part in helping the good people who make Puffs Plus tissues stay in business. The downside of course is that I’m currently producing enough goo for three people and I’m getting a wee bit tired of hacking and sneezing it all up.

I suppose that was probably a bit graphic. I apologize.

The funny thing is I never used to get sick much at all. I could go a year or three without catching a cold. Perhaps it’s because I’m getting old? Worse yet, maybe mother nature just hates me and is directing an unfair amount of germ infested breezes in my direction whenever I step foot outside. Ahh well, Spring will be here soon and then I’ll have pollen and allergies to look forward to. Joy!

On another note, the voting for the Diary of the Dead short film contest is still taking place on Myspace. If you have a Myspace account and would like to make a sick guy’s day, please consider stopping by and casting a vote for our film. All you have to do is click one little thumbs up button. You can even consider it your good deed for the day. Sounds simple enough, right? I thought so =)

Also don’t forget to take part in my Entrecard credits contest, if you haven’t already. One lucky reader will win 1,000 credits. Just think, with that much you could afford to buy an ad spot on ProBlogger at least a couple times! Of course I’d recommend spending Entrecard credits a little more wisely. Not that ProBlogger is a bad place to advertise (I’m sure it’s probably not) but I find that you tend to get more value for your credits when you place ads on lower priced sites.

While you’re at it, stop by BlogsWeLuv and enter our contest over there as well. Win or lose, you’ll benefit from entering!

Hi Mike, just wanted to drop in and say hello since I’ve been somewhat scarce in the blogging world as of late. Hope all is well and that you’re feeling better. :)

Bush is also under the weather. What, have you two been going to the same websites or something? LOL. Hope I don’t catch it next! *cleans hands and applies face mask* :P

Ok Mike so I figured it out, what we gotta do is start taking summers off. That way we won’t get sick all the time!…

Ok, maybe that wouldn’t help but it’d still be great to have summers off!
