How soon will Danielle reach 100 comments?
If you read this blog and comment here regularly you may know Danielle and her quest to reach 100 comments on this very blog for the month of July. Currently she stands at 63 comments which leaves her 37 comments away from reaching her goal. I’m proposing a friendly little contest of sorts. Whoever most accurately guesses when Danielle will reach 100 comments will be the winner. I don’t have any fancy prizes to offer, however I’ve been receiving quite a bit of traffic lately so I’d be happy to put together a nice little write-up here about the winning blogger’s site. Perhaps we can even convince Danielle to write something nice about the winner on her site as well :)
So here’s how it will work. It’s simple really. Just guess which day this month you believe Danielle will reach 100 comments. Once she hits the magic number we’ll stop everything we’re doing and stand to applaud Danielle and her miraculous accomplishment. So who’s game? There’s 12 days left in this month, if Danielle doesn’t reach 100 we can always try this again next month :P
And how do we do this without Danielle knowing what we predicted? You’ll HAVE to give her an immediate IP-ban NOW, or else she may find out…
I don’t think it matters if she knows what people guess unless she decides to play favorites and make someone the winner :P

@Mark – My favourite colour is blue, pink is the colour that best represents my personality, red is the colour I wear the most. And the first math question, well I was under the impression that math was no longer a requirement on Mike’s blog! :P
@Bush – And it’s totally involuntary too – I even spent a whole night trying to tell myself “You will not comment on Mike’s blog today” but I gave in and commented on 3 or 4 posts.

I told ya it happens, Danielle! I noticed your comment on coComments but it never showed up here :| I was just about to start investigating my database to see if the missing comment was still there somewhere. Very odd.
I think I’m still going to dig around and try to figure out what’s going on.
I think maybe it takes some time for the comment to get sent to the coComment server so you have to wait for the comment to appear – maybe I closed the page before this happened?

Who knows huh? I can’t predict but I guess that is the point of the contest I suppose, it could happen tomorrow or a week from now, or two.
Skunks are cute but smelly. I wish they did not smell bad because then I would pet them. Provided they are friendly and don’t bite my hand.
I had a friend in high school that had dark hair with a white streak going through the middle of it all, just like a skunk. Weird guy. Good person, but weird.
Ooh skunk would be a good Halloween costume (yes I am already throwing ideas around – it comes sooner than you think you realize). When I was a kid my dad would call me Moufette which is French for skunk. Sort of embarrassing nickname.
Ya know I don’t think there’s any way to save this where it actually sounds like a compliment, but I think you’d make a very nice skunk :P

Hang on… Not really knowing Danielle, of course, but come to think of it.. what would be in it for her? Nothing really is there? So she might just want to prove some point, and just do what she expects non of us to expect – and NOT make it to 100 by the end of this month. She’ll probably go all the way up to 99 and then control herself firmly. So my new guess is: August 1st, 00:01
Unless we all make an effort and manage to draw her attention away from the subject and get her to auto-comment spontaneously, totally forgetting this contest :P
Oh – I will make it by the end of the month! I am on a mission… and there is not such thing as mission impossible for me.

I changed the template 5000 times so I’m not sure which version you saw, lol. I just wanted to give it some more color and structure. It was kind of just like a plain white blob.
As for this whole Danielle marathon thing….I will write a blog post about her and make her the reader of the day for two days if she reaches a hundred this month. (You Rock Danielle) I think if she makes it we should all post about her!!! I don’t really know how much of a prize that really is though…Hmm…lol

I went out with a friend last night and got silly silly after drinking several liters of sangria… oops! But now I am back and no way am I going out tonight because I missed my blog last night! :)

Yeah the only unfortunate thing as that most people find Paris Hilton much more interesting than me – I lack the whole heiress thing. Even though really, I find her pretty dumb and dumb people really annoy me.
I am thinking of buying a digital video recorder though. You can get one for pretty cheap these days, and if I did that I would do some vlogging I think. But it would not be me sitting in front of the camera, I would make little movies. :) I have lots of plans.
