You know I completely forgot to mention that my neighbor directly across the street has a Karaoke machine. With all the windows open at 11pm at night on the weekend all you can hear is him singing in Chinese. And it’s loud! Sometimes he and his wife sing duet’s and she is bad…I mean…horribly bad. His favorite is Opera. All I can think of is that they sound like those American Idol reject shows. What would Simon say if he had to live here? Or maybe I’m just jealous because I don’t have my own karaoke machine….hmph.

@Andrew: I hear ya. About the only time I turn on the tv anymore is for 24 (which sucked last season) or to watch my favorite college teams. Other than that it’s usually off.

@Hernan: I know all about that Mexican music as well. When I lived in Houston for three years I had neighbors below me that blared the stuff ALL DAY LONG. Holy irritating.

I really hate those loud car stereos, but let me tell you something, I prefer a thousand times that those cars play Hip Hop and not the f..ing crap that those cars with megabass are playing here. Believe me, Hip hop it`s not so worse thing like the Reggaeton and the Mexican music in a very loud volume.

“Reality TV.”

FINALLY! Someone who agrees with me. I enjoyed the very first season of Survivor. It was rather unique. Then somehow TV became Reality TV and I can’t find one friggin thing to watch. Then there’s reality shows about faking reality shows. And real shows about creating reality shows.

I hates it all and cannot wait till this fad (yes it is a fad) dies a quick painful death. Bring me back my cheesy, horrible, predictable ’80s sitcoms any day!

I think I had one of those days yesterday. And I feel ya on some of the stuff on your list, MTV (or channel 72 as I call it as there is no more music on MTV), stubbing the toe, reality tv, ghost rider (just because blackheart was NO Blackheart)…

But no hip hop!? I’ll bet what you heard wasn’t hip hop but the pop rap that is destroying the genre and #1 on channel 72. I love all kinds of music, and I gotta tell ya, when I’m having a day and Hypnotize comes on – Oh, that’s my jam. (#):)

If someone showed up in the middle of ice cream I would probably lose it too, neighbors, well, I write short stories about them and sell them for revenge, you know how I feel about bad movies, and I miss Regis too! You forgot door to door salesman. I had one the other day that “demanded” I go get my bills right now so he could see them and save me money. When he wouldn’t take no for an answer I actually used the “F” word, which I only save for those very special people who won’t get off my front porch. :) I like Danielle’s idea, that could work!
