An even better deal on Halo 3!
So unlike the majority of the civilized world I decided not to preorder Halo 3. I figured I’d wait a bit. That is until I just found a great deal a few minutes ago. If you read my blog regularly, you may remember I found a pretty sweet deal on Halo 3 at the Family Video site just a few days ago. I just did a little more searching tonight and realized there’s a nice little coupon code that can be used as well when you order from there. I don’t know how I managed to miss it the first time. After finding that little morsel I made my order and the grand total including shipping was $45.98. Not bad, eh? If I had gone over to Gamespot to buy Halo 3 it would have been around $65 with tax, so I just saved 20 bucks. I seriously don’t think there’s a better deal anywhere around than that. Of course you have to wait about five days for it to be shipped. A small price to pay as far as I’m concerned.

Yeh, it’s expected to help Microsoft finally turn a profit with the xbox 360…lol. It’s definitely their meal ticket.
Ahhh! Halo 3! One of my female friends is terribly angry with this game. Her boyfriend bought it at midnight (the moment it came out) and then proceeded to play it for eighteen hours straight. When she asked him if he would take a break and have dinner with her, he said simply said “no” and then refused to talk to her for the rest of the night. He took a two hour nap and then continued to play the game in a tournament.
He is a jerk. He could have at least had dinner with his beautiful girlfriend. She was even going to let him continue playing after they ate.
I wish she would dump him and then get a nice guy that respects her more than a game.
Wow, that’s insane :-o I could never play any game for that long. I play it for an hour here and there before my eyes start going batty. I can’t take much more than that =)
