A little link love – Week Fifteen

Gummy Love

Now that the Blogathon hangover has worn off a little more it’s time to hand out some link love! Admittedly I didn’t get a chance to get around the ’sphere quite so much the past week since I was more focused on getting ready to do the Blogathon. I did still manage to find a few little morsels that might interest you.

  • The Unstoppable Danny Pink – Christine of Redhead Rants writes a great little story inspired by the one and only Danielle of Pink Internet Marketing.
  • How to Find Sponsorships for Your Blog – My cousin and I have been considering shopping around for possible sponsorships on the Gumy comic site. I of course have been doing some searching around, reading various articles. This was one I found last night that I liked.
  • SackVick.net – I know a lot of people are sick of hearing about Michael Vick and his alleged dogfighting enterprise, but for those that would like to be kept informed on the latest happenings this a good new site to follow.
  • Google Has the 411 – Here’s something to try the next time you need a little directory assistance. Can the company who provides you the best search engine on the planet eventually provide the best phone directory as well? Who knows, but this one is free at least.

Apparently the rumour also goes that Google is moving into wireless too! ?

Sapheyerblu’s story was great! I was so excited about it!

Thanks honey. That story was so much fun to write. When I read Danielle’s comment, the whole story just formed in my head.

    LOL

    Thanks Mike, you’re the best

@Danielle: It wouldn’t surprise me ;P And yes, yes it was. It’s not every day you’re lucky enough to have someone write a story about you :)

@Sapheyerblu: You’re welcome, Christine. It was a really fun story. I could picture an Unstoppable Danny Pink cartoon series :)

OOOOO, me too. A blogging queen in pink with a pink hat for a crown.

    LOL

The google 411 is pretty slick!

That’s an interesting read about sponsorships, I have to go read about Danielle’s story too. When the A-lister’s get pitches do they offer them money? Or do the A-Lister’s negotiate with them. I’m getting a whole lot of requests to do free reviews. Which is kind of an insult at this point. Maybe I’m going about it all wrong. Perhaps the king of Technorati has advice… :)

@Christine: If I didn’t have that “other” comic I’d consider taking on the task of creating it ;P

@Bucky: I haven’t tried it yet :) It won’t be long before Google conquers the world though…lol.

@Christy: Heck if I know. I don’t get contacted by anyone like you do…hehe.

I wonder if there will become a time when Google will be regarded in the same way Microsoft is today?

As long as they keep releasing the free goods, I think they’ll stay in a positive light!

Thanks for the link love, Mike!
