A little link love – Week Eight
Jun 13, 2007 Blogging, Link Love, Stumbles
I’ve been a little busy working on a new project with Tish so I’m a bit late this week with the link love. I also haven’t had as much time to surf around the blogosphere looking for goodies, but fear not I still have a few things to pass along :)
- Are you one of the many people who attempted to fix the duplicate content problem of your Wordpress blog with a plugin? Jack Humphrey has a nice article with a quote from Matt Cutts about duplicate content and supplemental results in Google. You should feel at least a little bit better about your supplemental results now.
- Perhaps you’ve heard of the woman who goes by the name HappySlip on Youtube or perhaps not. She created a series of videos poking fun at soap operas. It’s pretty funny stuff.
- This is perhaps the coolest, simplest and most creative way I’ve seen to explain the development process of a website between the designer, client and programmer.
That’s all for this week folks. I’ll hopefully be back next week with a longer list of goodies :)

Glad to hear I’m not the only one who has been bogged down with projects. I really miss not blogging every night.
Hope you’re well!

The stuff on the supplemental results in google is interesting because its a change in position form last year. I have had luck getting pages out of sups by reducing the content in the templates that shows on every page so I don’t buy the link story 100%.
