A little link love – Week Seven

Well I was early with the love the last couple weeks and this week I think I’m a tad late. I suppose it all balances out in the end somehow though :) Here’s my list of interesting tidbits from around the blogoshphere for this week. Enjoy!

  • 6 Important Tips for New Bloggers – The Baron of Brown Thoughts shares some personal insight on what he believes are some keys to successful blogging. I tend to agree with his list.
  • Simple Forum WordPress Plugin – Have you ever wished you could embed a forum directly into your WordPress layout? Give this plugin a try. I haven’t had the chance to test it out personally yet, so proceed with caution and make sure you do plenty of testing first.
  • The Mother Load of RSS Goodies – Last night I was stumbling around the web trying to find a solution for an RSS issue and happened upon this list. If you can’t find something for your RSS needs here, you aren’t looking hard enough.
  • 10 Effective Ways to Get More Blog Subscribers – If you’ve not checked out Copyblogger before, you really should. It’s a blog absolutely loaded with useful information. For the record I’m a subscriber ;)
  • WordPress Photo Album – Here’s a great plugin for any photography junkies out there that would like to create a slick little photo gallery on their blog. It’s perhaps not as robust as standalone packages like Gallery and Coppermine but it looks effective enough to me :)

    Now look what you made me do. I found a tip on Copyblogger that I couldn’t live without. So I added Feedblitz to my repertoire, now I’m going to get a gazillion subscribers, and with that will come fame and fortune, then I’ll have to buy you something in thanks (perhaps something with 4 wheels), remove all the lawn mowers from your neighborhood, provide you with a lifetime supply of whole milk, deal with scheduling conflicts for all the interviews I’ll be called on…

    Man, coming here is dangerous, but alas — it’s the price one pays for striving to be an A-list blogger. ;)
