A little link love – Week Three.
I think I’m a bit late with the link love this week but you’ll forgive me, right? ;) Here’s a handful of interesting and fun links from friends as well as complete strangers. Enjoy!
- Thanks to Roxzen I’ve learned about an extremely excellent WordPress resource known as WPZipper. It allows you to download an installation of WordPress bundled with all the plugins you like to use. This is really helpful if you’re like me and have (or plan to have) a local installation of WP that you use as a test site. Now you can download one zipped up file, extract it to your local directory and you’re all set.
- Jenny from The So Called Me has created a new blog carnival called The Blog Party where anything goes (except for paid reviews and such!). If you think you have a really interesting article to include, you’ve got until the end of this month to submit it! Maybe I can get my Gummy tutorial done in time to submit that :D
- Did you hear about SponsoredReviews standing up for their publishers? Mark of MeAndMyDrum writes about it. Check out the rest of his site as well. He’s a great writer and always has an excellent point of view on various topics.
- ChattieKat aka Tish has list of five blogs she’d read if they were the only ones she could read. Guess who’s on the list? :D Which five blogs would you choose?
- Jack Humphrey discusses seven promotion strategies for blogging. I only just discovered Jack’s site a few days ago and I have to say his articles are really excellent. I don’t get too caught up in all the marketing and SEO stuff right now, but Jack provides plenty of information to think about for the future.

Nope, don’t mind at all! I’ll drop you an e-mail and give you some instructions on how to do it :)
Thanks for the spotlight, Mike. :)
You’re welcome! :D
hey just droppin by tc xox
Hi Fayee! Thanks for stopping by. Come again some time :D
I feel so lurved. :D
Woot! Mission accomplished :D
Thanks for the link, Mike! And I hope you’re having a great day!! I also hope that I brought a few visitors to your site.
Take care!
You’re welcome! :) It was the least I could I do after the super nice things you wrote on your site
And yes I did get some new visitors :D
Mike,
Yeah, Jack Humphrey is excellent, as you correctly say – always worth reading his stuff.
I would guess that you’ve already got your hands on Jack’s free Web 2.0 ebook, right? If not, it is well worth every cent that you (don’t) have to spend your hands on it!
If you need the url, let me know,
Steve
Yep, I downloaded it :) I haven’t had a chance to go through it just yet though. I’m going to try to this weekend after I finish up some things for both of my sites =)
I’d be interested in the link. :)
Here ya go, Mark :)

Much obliged, Mike!
Thanks for the information about the Blog Carnival, Mike. I had participated previously in one, forgot about it, but your post reminded me of them. I’ll be checking it out!
No problem, Matt. Glad you found one of the links useful to you :)
