I am so obsessed
Tish keeps tagging me with memes! I figure either she likes me or she’s still punishing me for calling her huge. So this time around I have to confess my obsessions for all the world to read. Try not to fall asleep while reading, please.
- Blogging – Obviously, right? When I decided to start blogging again a year ago I told myself I’d just stick to one site. I now have three. I’m sure it won’t be long before I create more. I’m just as obsessed with tinkering and putting together new blogs as I am with writing in them. Perhaps the best part about blogging though is all the fantastic friends I’ve made from all over the world. When I was growing up I remember always wondering what people in other corners of the world were like and thinking how different they must be. All these years later I’ve learned that we really aren’t all that different. We’re just separated by immense bodies of water and masses of land.
- Stat Checking – I can’t help but wonder how much more I’d get done in a day if I could just stop obsessing over checking my website stats every 3 minutes.
- Syracuse University Football and Basketball – I’ve been fan of SU sports for as long as I can remember. I spend a lot of time reading forums, blogs and local news sites digging for the latest nuggets of information about the football and basketball teams. The football team has been absolutely awful the past 4 or 5 seasons but I don’t care. They’re still my team.
- Twenty Four – Not the number but the TV show. This season was freakin’ terrible yet I never missed an episode. I haven’t missed one single episode in its six year existence. If that’s not obsession I don’t know what is.
- Chinese Food – I could easily eat the stuff every single day and not get tired of it. The only thing I don’t like about it are the onions but I just pick those out.
I’m literally blogging on empty right now and seriously need a nap. In fact I’ve nodded off at least ten times while writing this post, so instead of thinking and deciding who to tag I’ll let you decide if you’d like to write about what you obsess over. Consider yourself tagged.

Thanks so much for playing along, Mike! Like you really had a choice, eh? ;)
I have never watched an episode of 24. Maybe I’ll put season 1 in my netflix queue!
Chinese food, hmmm… I don’t know if I could be obsessed with it, but sugar, yes.
Now I’m picturing you at your computer surrounded by boxes of chinese food, blogging, while Twenty Four is playing in the background….
@Tish – Just don’t watch last season. Season One was the best by far even though I love the season with Dina screaming, “BEIRUT!!!!(sp)
@Mike – I’m thinking about starting another blog myself. They ARE freakin’ addicting. If I lose my job anytime soon, we all know why. (#):)
@Christy: That’s pretty accurate actually…hehe.
I agree on season one of 24. It was really good. Actually the first couple seasons were pretty good. The last couple though…not so good. But I’m addicted to it so of course I’ll continue to watch regardless of how bad it gets :P
And you’re welcome Tish :D
I got the stat checking obsession too. xD
I can’t stop. I try :(
You know, I feel like an idiot, but I don’t understand that little face that Bush always draws. I’ve been too embarrassed to ask what it is! Tell me, Mike. hehe.
