Time to make a to do list
I have been so stressed out and irritated by a client these past couple weeks that pretty much everything I had been planning or intending to do has seemed to have gone out the window. Sure I managed to create a new Gummy comic and post my first Illustrator video tutorial but there’s a lot more I need to make time for. Yet I have more projects for that very same stressful client likely coming up soon, so I figured it’s time I make myself a to do list, publicize it and that way if I don’t stick to it you the reader have permission to beat me senseless with a wet noodle if I don’t follow through. So here’s the things I want to eventually get done.
- Finish the next Drama in Gummyland comic – I have the script written out for it so I should realistically be able to complete that by Saturday, Sunday at the latest.
- Finish the “See How I Draw Gummy” video – I’m not sure if this will be a tutorial or more of a presentation but either way I need to complete it.
- Gummy Banners – I started these a week ago and then got totally distracted. I don’t even know if anyone will use them or be willing to post a banner on their site but it’s always good to make banners anyway.
- Gummy E-Cards – This is something I haven’t mentioned yet. I’m not completely positive I know how I’m going to do this yet but I want to set up a little e-card section where readers can send off cards along with a message to friends and family.
- Gummy Forums – I’ve been pondering the idea of creating a forum on the Gummy site. It wouldn’t just be about Gummy though. My idea is for it to be a place where people can also discuss other webcomics and forms of art they like as well. My reasoning for creating this is because so far most of the webcomics forums I’ve found seem pretty dead. Not only that I have this phobia about joining a forum that’s already well established. I like to be able to get to know members from the very beginning.
I have no time table in mind for how soon I want to complete all of this but I’m hoping it can be some time before the next millennium.

Hehe…I suppose ya could probably make a whole other blog just about things of that sort :P
Those are some great ideas Mike. All of them! I especially like the Gummy E-cards.
Okay now I wish I had something to sell and promote. (Jealous)
What am I going to sell? Coffee cups? Stuffed talking heads? Oh yeah, that’d be a big hit, this sucks.

Hahaha…that’s awesome! I show up on the first page of Google for some really odd keywords and phrases so at least that one is a lot more relevant :D
