Gummy gets a logo.
While working on the CafePress page for the Gummy stuff I needed to come up with a logo of sorts to be placed at the top of the page. I decided to just keep it simple and cute. That pretty much defines Gummy, right? Here’s what I settled on.

I’m just about done with the CafePress page. There’s a few more products I want to put together some artwork for and then I think I’ll be all set. I’ve already got a few friends and family waiting on its completion. That’s a good start I suppose =)
Comic books for kids of all ages.
Just recently I signed up on the website ComicSpace in the hopes of getting a little more exposure for my Gummy illustrations and maybe even meeting a few interesting people while there. Within just a few minutes of registering several people added to me to their contact list. One of those people is Carlos from Austin, Texas. Carlos owns and operates Hopper Comics which produces comic books for kids of all ages.
In his words:
“My books are designed to promote and educate children and their families on the importance of literacy and continuing education.”
If you’re a parent interested in finding comic books that would be more acceptable for younger children, I’d say Hopper Comics would be a good place to start.
This blog is simply the home of a guy named Mike. That would be me. I have many interests. Occasionally thoughts pop into my head regarding those interests, and when they do, they show up here.
