Premium WordPress themes that won’t devour your wallet

For a while now I’ve contemplated the idea of purchasing a few premium WordPress themes in order to use them for various project ideas I have in mind.

Although since those ideas aren’t very structured right now and just something I’d fiddle with every so often, the thought of paying the large fee that many premium themes carry has been the one factor keeping me from purchasing any.

That’s not to say that the more expensive themes wouldn’t be worth it, because the majority of them are. They just wouldn’t make sense for me right now.

Fortunately I finally discovered Elegant Themes by Nick Roach. He offers a yearly subscription that’s very hard to pass up. So hard in fact that I just had to sign up.

Nick’s premium WordPress themes are indeed elegant, professional looking and very clean. To date he’s made available 19 themes to his subscribers, all of which are available to download as soon as you pay the subscription fee. One of my favorites is pictured below.

Here’s the best part. That subscription fee is just $19.95 for an entire year. You of course can cancel at any time. Personally I don’t think I will be after having access to all of the themes and tinkering around with them a bit. I can’t wait to see what Nick makes available next to his subscribers.

All of the premium themes offered at Elegant Themes are compatible with both WordPress 2.7 and the most popular web browsers. Many of them come loaded with great built-in features. The following are just of few examples.

  • 125×125 Sidebar Ad Management – You can turn them on and off at your leisure.
  • Featured Articles – If you’d like, you can choose to have your favorite posts featured prominently on the front page of your site.
  • Thumbnail Resizing – Upload just one image for your posts and it will automatically be resized depending on the size needed.
  • Color Schemes – All of the themes available feature several unique color schemes to choose from.

Seriously, if you’ve been considering making the jump to a premium theme for your WordPress site, but have been intimidated by the costs, you owe it to yourself to check out Elegant Themes. Chances are, like me, you’ll find the price and quality hard to beat.

This is off topic, but what is your XBL gamertag?

I recently got an xbox and would like to find you on there.
