Just a few things I feel like yapping about.
First of all I have to say I really like MyBlogLog despite some of its shortcomings, because I’ve already encountered some great people with equally great blogs in the very short time I’ve been there. However, one thing that really drives me nuts is how their widget handles clicks. I sure hope they eventually decide to make the little avatar links open to a new browser window (or if you use Firefox, browser tab). I seem to have this habit of visiting blogs, getting about half way through a post I’m reading and then spotting an interesting avatar and immediately clicking it before I finish reading. Of course now I’ve been diverted away from the blog I was reading. If I had any sort of attention span this wouldn’t be a problem, but I have a feeling I’m not the only one this happens to.
Second, what happened to Spring?? I’m sitting here shivering looking out the window at a tree covered with icicles and a very drab and gray backdrop behind it. It just looks cold out there, and it is. Every now and then I see a few snowflakes fly by. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s going to be any May flowers, because there certainly haven’t been many April showers, unless you count snow showers.
Last but not least I’m really getting fed up with my web host today. I’ve issued a support ticket twice letting them know I’ve pointed my new domain for the webcomic to their nameservers and created the necessary folder on my web server for the domain to point to. Twice they e-mail back with what I can only consider a standard form mail outlining the directions to do what I freakin’ told them TWICE I’ve already done. Sooo, it looks like there’s going to be a delay in getting the webcomic domain going until someone can teach the cute little customer service monkeys how to read.
That is all for now. I need some Tylenol.
yeah the links not opening in a new tab/window sucks big time, main reason is that when using the link button in wordpress it comes without the target attribute which kind of sucks but can be added manually.

Me being lazy I too don’t add that to the url tag, about the avatars we’ll could possible modify it ourselves but again laziness wins hehe :shock: .

I shouldn’t have to edit it though, that’s their job :mrgreen: Plus that doesn’t help me when visiting everyone else’s blog. I can’t edit their code..hehe.
And man these Kontera links are really crazy. I thought it might be a good idea to possibly generate a little revenue to pay for hosting fees, but eight links in three paragraphs of this post is just silly. Gonna have to email them about that. Eeesh.
