Looking for a little traffic via StumbleUpon?

Ask Adria! Seriously. She seems to have the magic touch with StumbleUpon. Adria has stumbled two pages (that I know of…lol) on the BlogsWeLuv site. So far today there’s been nearly 400 page views and close to 200 unique visitors (according to MyBlogLog stats), and the traffic is still coming! Whenever I stumble pages it seems to take a while for any sort of momentum to build and create traffic. Adria stumbles a page and it’s a flood of traffic :P

Even more interesting is to take a look at the statistics via AWStats provided by my webhost, HostGator. They tell a much different story than MyBlogLog.

Sadly she doesn’t seem to have the same effect with her own site, so I have plea to ask of all my wonderful readers. If you use the StumbleUpon toolbar, how ’bout heading over to In Cinq and giving Adria a stumble if you like what you see there? :)

    StumbleUpon is a great way to get traffic and potential readers. Much better crowd than Digg. She’s got the magic touch? I got to get her to stumble me sometime haha. I’ll head over there and do some stumbling.

    It’s tricky though. I’ve found if I stumble any of my own pages the traffic comes at more of trickle, but if someone else stumbles a page first the traffic is much better and then of course there’s the flood when Adria stumbles a page…lol. It almost seems like StumbleUpon knows when you stumble your own content. Kinda weird.

    I need to update the numbers in that chart for the 18th actually. That wasn’t for the entire day.

    Reddit is also a good source of traffic. We just need people to submit for us haha.

    Really? I’ve never really checked out Reddit. Perhaps I should :P Of course I’d need to write something worthy of being submitted…lol.

    Haha…I know it would seem that way wouldn’t it? :P Funny thing is since Adria started the massive stumble flood a few days I’d been wanting to post about it…lol. Your post about about stats for your site sorta reminded me..hehe.
