The cure for the common cold.
To say I’ve been sick these last several days would be just a bit of an understatement. The coughing has been so violent that it’s left my chest feeling like it’s going to explode. Now every time I even feel like I may have to cough I literally have to brace myself. It hurts just to breathe. Fortunately it’s all finally starting to break up, so now when I burst into a raging cough fit I’m spewing glorious piles of goo with roughly the consistency of Elmer’s Glue.
One thing that’s been keeping me sane through all of this is the new album from Volbeat entitled “Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil”. I loved their debut CD and I believe the new stuff actually tops it. What a great band. The singer seriously reminds me of the front man of the old group Life of Agony. The music could probably be best described as edgy, hard rock/metal that never takes itself too seriously. Just like their first CD I’m having a hard time finding any track I don’t like. This is a must hear for any hard rock fan.
