How to advertise on Things By Mike
I offer a few different solutions for advertising here on ThingsByMike.com. Your first option is a 125×125 pixel banner placement in the sidebar, as shown below. The cost is $15.00 per month, payable by PayPal. I will offer no more than six ad spaces. Animated gifs are allowed, but I must approve them first. The file size should be no larger than 15 kilobytes. No porn advertisements.
A second advertising option available to you is a 468×60 pixel banner placed in the header of the site, as shown below. I will accept no more than 12 banners here per month, which will be placed into rotation, all of which being weighted equally. The cost for this space is $15 per month payable by PayPal. Animated gifs and flash banners are acceptable, however I must approve them first. The file size should be no larger than 15 kilobytes. No porn advertisements.
All of these banners are above the fold, providing easy visibility for your advertisements. At the end of each month I will also make a post thanking sponsors.

If you’re interested in having your product or service critiqued here on ThingsByMike.com, I’d be happy to write a thorough review. Keep in mind that I believe in writing honestly about a product. That means that I will not write a review without having an opportunity to test the product I’m writing about. Need a banner created for your advertisements here?
If you would like to advertise on Things By Mike but do not have a suitable graphic, I’d be happy to create one for you. On this page you can see an example of work I have done for others. The examples are blogging awards, but the process for creating them is no different than that for advertisements. My fee is $40. Obviously you could reuse the artwork and place it on any other site you wish to advertise with as well.
