A thank you note from Me.

After checking some of my stats and ratings today I felt compelled to sit down tonight and write a thank you to every one that’s been kind enough to either link back to my site, or post about things they’ve found and enjoyed…or even just tell a friend about it. The numbers for this site are still very modest compared to what I’m sure many of you enjoy, but they’re slowly getting better and I couldn’t be happier for that. For example just a few short weeks ago when I started to really take this blog seriously my Technorati ranking was somewhere around 1.4 million. Pretty abysmal I’d assume. Tonight that rank sits at just over 462,000 which I know is still very low. It makes me very happy though that the number is getting smaller instead of larger. It feels like the effort I’ve been putting into everything has been worth it and will continue to be worth it. It’s somewhat fruitless to create any kind of artwork whether it be music, paintings or cartoons of little aliens if there’s no one to share it with and appreciate it. It’s nice to know that perhaps there are actually folks out there appreciating what I’m doing =)

    Joke aside, I think that you’ll enjoy much higher rankings and traffic in a while. Gummy is one of the best characters I’ve ever came across and as long as you keep up the good work, I’m sure there’ll be more people thinking the same thing every day :)

    Hope the traffic is picking up on your plugin, btw. It usually seems like people devour new plugins, so it can only be a matter of time :P
