Time to walk on the wild side

I’ve decided to deactivate the plugin which asks a simple mathematical question each time you make a comment on this blog. In its place I’ve made the decision that it’s time give Akismet a try here. It’s been working very well on the BlogsWeLuv site, so I hope to have the same success with it on this site. I know some people have been a little irritated with the math question and I’ll have to admit it irritated me as well when I would forget to log in, so we’ll see how it goes. As long as I don’t get a flood of porn spam squeaking through the cracks, I’ll leave things this way for good. First time commenters however will still be moderated. That will never change :)

    I’m thinking we should start a little blogging pool and make a friendly wager to see who comes the closest to guessing when Danielle will reach 100 comments :D

    I think if we lock someone in a room and condition them to comment in order to get food we can get someone who can almost match Danielle’s comment speed. The rest of us don’t have a chance.
