Christmas came early for me yesterday!

Yesterday I received a wonderful little package via UPS from Tish. I had already known about one thing that was going to be inside it. Tish had told me a couple weeks ago that she found a little Garfield beanie baby for me. She knows just how much of a Garfield fan I am so I thought that was totally sweet of her. However there was more things inside the box that completely surprised me! Let’s take a look shall we? You’ll have to excuse the quality on these pictures. My camera gets rather grumpy when there’s not enough light. It’s rather dark in here this morning.

First we have the Garfield beanie I mentioned.

Just those two things alone would have been wonderful but there were four other things in the box which definitely surprised me. Tish managed to find first edition prints of the first four Garfield books!

Knowing I used to collect these books and had lost them along the years, she decided to help me replace a few. What’s even more special is these are the very same books that I first began to study and learn how to draw comic strips from. Without a doubt just thumbing through a few pages of each brought back a lot of memories.

Cap everything off with a great card which has a really sweet message and it’s easy for me to say this is one of the most thoughtful things anyone has done for me in quite a while. Thank you Tish! :)

    Ok, when do we get to see pictures of you two kissing…or is that going to far….lol. It’s like watching a soap opera and waiting for the first kiss…I can’t take the suspense….you two are too cute:)

    And I agree with 600 other comments on here. Will you too hook up (do kids still say that these days?) already? If you want, I’ll volunteer to play chaperone if you guys meet somewhere in NY.
