According to the Weather Channel and their website last night, the little area of upstate New York where I reside was going to be impacted by a “monster storm” today. As you can see from this photo below, the monster storm we’re experiencing looks rather tame, unless of course even the very sight of insignificant snow frightens you. Weather prediction is definitely not an exact science.

I’d be happy to ship some to you
I’m surprised that didn’t bring your roof crashing in! It makes the 16″+ we got last week seem like nothing!

Yeah what is all this snow about anyway? It was nice and warm the past week and a half where I am from, then all of the sudden, it won’t get above 30. What is that all about? Weather forecasts suck.
I really like that text on the bottom left. And I think while you were hit with snow, we in MD were blessed with some GREAT weather! Of course I think it’s all going cold again but I’ll take what I can get. (#):)

@Bucky: LOL…You should see what kind of weather they get up north where I used to live. 16 inches is just a dusting compared to that place
They measure their snow in feet.
@Bush: Mother nature just can’t seem to figure what she wants to do. It was close to 60 here yesterday..lol. Ya know it just dawned on me you’re down there in ACC country. I’ll try not to hold that against you
haha, thats nothing come to michigan once! We still have over a foot here.

Being originally from PA myself, I’m quite familiar with monster snow storms. Barf. Glad to see that you only got a dusting.

@Bobby: LOL, I think up north of here they still have at least a few feet on the ground. It’s like another world up there.
@Aaron: LOL…barf is right. I’m used to it though
We have crazy weather here in North Texas. Monday we woke up to snow-covered rooftops and by afternoon it was in the 60s, I think it was. Today, was sunny and comfortable and tomorrow we’re expecting a rain/snow mix. Yep, we got it all here. ;0
