Yappd – Like Twitter but with pictures
By now you all know what Twitter is or have at least heard of it, right? It’s a very popular service that allows you to send updates by cellphone or the web, alerting your “followers” as to your whereabouts and what you’re up to. Well now we have Yappd. Yappd which is currently in beta mode (what site isn’t nowadays) allows you to do much the same as Twitter but with a twist. Not only can you yap about what you’re doing via cellphone and the web, but you can also show your followers as well, with photos. I’m not much for having my picture taken so I can’t see myself making much use of the added feature, but for those that love to ham it up for the camera, this could be just the thing for you if you’ve been feeling like Twitter just wasn’t enough.
So anyone feel like Yapping?
THIS GUY doesn’t really like having his pic taken neither so I’m good on this. Heck, I never even got into Twitter!
Honestly, I was about to but then I took a look at my sidebars and noticed they were pretty huge so I backed off on adding anything to them for a spell.
LOL…I kinda like Twitter but I don’t imagine I’ll get much into Yaddpd. I signed up with it just to check it out before making this post. It appears to be pretty much a Twitter clone with that added photo feature. So people like us who aren’t into having photos taken probably won’t get much mileage out of it :)
